Heroes: The RPG: The Plot
All over the world, it started happening. Otherwise ordinary people found that they had extraordinary abilities. Great power. Seeing the future. Traveling through time. Indestructibility.
Some people have chosen to use these powers for good. There are others, however, who use their powers for other reasons. Terrible reasons. Sylar is still out there, powerless for now, but hoping for a return to his former power, so he can hunt down "evolved humans," or "Specials," for their powers. Others simply use their powers to create fear, and to manipulate people. A mysterious organization known only as "The Company" is still capturing and tracking Specials. Except Adam Monroe, one of the Company's own founders, is hunting down the other founders and killing them, for reasons unknown.
And what of the "Shanti virus?" Specials are being infected by it and dying, the only cure being a one Professor Mohinder Suresh's blood... for now...
Most of the world doesn't know that these Specials exist. Yet there are some who want to be revealed, but why? So that they can exploit the Specials' powers for their own gain? For money? Power? Control?
The power is yours, but what will you do with it? Will you use it for all the wrong reasons?
Or will you be one of the Heroes?

Character Threads These threads are started by members, for the sole purpose of keeping track of their characters, their relationships, their storylines, and any updates to said characters. After applications are accepted, they are locked, so all updates to characters must be done here.
New York The threads that are set in New York are here, with the exception of those that take place in Manhattan. This includes New York City, where the Petrellis, Matt, Mohinder, Molly and more live. The Company runs a facility in New York City as well. Hartsdale is also in New York, which is where Bob's office is.
Texas Any Texas threads are right here. That includes Odessa, where Claire Bennet lives and goes to school. A group of well-meaning "Specials" including Claire herself have set up "The Hideout", a place for them to learn to control their powers, and to just be with other "Specials" here, as well. Midland is also located in Texas, along with its "Burnt Toast Diner".
California All threads which take place in California, including Los Angeles, where Matt Parkman used to live, or Costa Verde, where Claire "Butler" and her family moved.
Media Any newspaper articles, TV or radio reports or ads, reporting actual in-character news can be placed here. Anything world-changing must, of course, be run by a staff member first.
